4. Nature and limitations of thermal surveys

Thermal imaging identifies temperature variations and patterns that may be consistent with issues such as heat loss, moisture, water movement, or electrical anomalies. Thermal surveys do not provide definitive diagnoses.

Results should be considered as indicative and used to inform further investigation or professional advice where appropriate. SkyEye NW does not provide structural, electrical, roofing, or engineering certification unless explicitly agreed in writing.

5. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are provided based on information supplied by the client at the time of enquiry. Prices may change if site details, scope, access, or reporting requirements differ from those originally described.

All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

6. Booking and payment

A booking is confirmed once accepted in writing by SkyEye NW.

Payment terms will be agreed in advance and may include:

  • Payment in full prior to the survey

  • Payment on completion

  • Staged payments for larger projects

Late payments may be subject to reasonable recovery costs.

7. Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a survey, please notify us as soon as possible.

We reserve the right to charge for:

  • Late cancellations

  • Abortive visits due to access issues

  • Surveys delayed or cancelled due to incorrect information provided by the client

Surveys may be rescheduled without charge where delays are caused by weather or safety related factors.

8. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate site information

  • Ensuring safe access where required

  • Informing us of site specific hazards or restrictions

  • Obtaining any necessary permissions from landowners or tenants

Failure to provide accurate information may affect survey results or lead to additional charges.

9. Deliverables and intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • SkyEye NW retains copyright and intellectual property rights in all imagery, data, and reports

  • Clients are granted a licence to use deliverables for their internal business purposes

Reuse, resale, publication, or third party distribution requires written permission.

10. Liability

SkyEye NW will not be liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential loss

  • Decisions made solely on the basis of thermal imagery

  • Losses arising from factors outside our reasonable control

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the services provided, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

11. Data protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and use personal information.
